All APBA members must be familiar with, and adhere to, the code of conduct. Those code of conduct applies to all APBA related activities and events (e.g., in person and virtual conventions, conference, and webinars; online posting and communication). APBA MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS:
Professional Behavior Analyst Member
Open to all people who meet the education level requirement and are eligible (i.e., meet all legal, regulatory, and practice requirements) to practice or teach behavior analysis in the country/state/territory where the individual practices.
Professional Behavior Analyst: PhD/MASTERS
PhD/Masters Graduate Level Education in Behavior Analysis. Voting member type.
- Dues: $100/year
Professional Behavior Analyst: BACHELORS
Bachelors Undergraduate Level Education in Behavior Analysis. Voting member type.

Professional Behavior Technician Member
Open to all people who have a high-school level diploma or equivalent and are eligible (i.e., meet all legal, regulatory, and practice requirements) to provide behavior analysis services under the supervision of a professional behavior analyst in the country/state/territory where the individual practices. Voting member type.
- Dues: $35/year
Related Professional Member
Open to all professionals (e.g., psychologists, SLPs, OTs, PTs, social workers, educators, doctors, nurses, HR, compliance officers, billing specialists) with the degree appropriate for their area of practice. Non-voting member type.
- Dues: $90/year
Student/Trainee Member
Open to all people currently enrolled in a university/college degree program in behavior analysis or a related field, or actively accruing supervised fieldwork experience hours to meet the requirements to practice behavior analysis in their desired country/state/territory. Non-voting member type
- Dues: $35/year
Supporting Member
Open to all people who do not meet the requirements for another member type and who are interested in professional behavior analysis (e.g., recipient of applied behavior analysis services, caregiver, retired behavior analysts or other professionals). Non-voting member type.

Affiliate Member
Nonprofit professional behavior analysis associations or scholarly, scientific, or advocacy organizations are invited to become Affiliates of APBA. Please note that APBA does not have chapters or organization memberships. Rather, Affiliates are associations that partner with APBA to work toward common goals. Members of Affiliate organizations do not automatically become members of APBA, but they are strongly encouraged to join.
