Questions About Membership
What membership is right for me?
If you hold a Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) Certificate (BCBA-D®, BCBA®, BCaBA®, or RBT®) select the corresponding membership.
If you are a professional but do not hold a BACB certificate, please select "PROFESSIONAL Member."
If you are a student and/or trainee working towards completion of your hours towards a BACB certificate, please select "Student/Trainee membership"
If you or a family member is a consumer of ABA services, please select "SUPPORTING Member."
We ask that you select the membership that best describes you as a professional.
What is an auto-renewal membership?
In October 2023, all APBA membership changed over to auto renewal memberships. This means that you do not have to worry about manually renewing your membership annually. The credit card used to purchase your first or renewed membership in or after October 2023 will be billed the following year on the same date.
Can I opt out of auto renewal membership?
Yes, you can log into your membership profile. Select the down arrow next to your name in the top right corner. Select "Invoices." Click on the awaiting open invoice and select "delete." See the TA at the bottom of this page in the file library below. Your current membership will stay active. You can renew manually on your next renewal date.
My credit card has changed since I joined and/or renewed?
You can update your credit card by logging into your membership profile. Select the down arrow next to your name in the top right corner. Select "Invoices." Click on the awaiting open invoice and change the credit card information. Click "save."

I've forgotten my password.
Go to this page and enter your username and/or email to reset your password.
I no longer have access to my email that I initially set up my account under or I don't remember which email I used.

I need to update information in my profile.
Log into your account and select "Welcome, Name" in the top right menu. Select "Account + Settings." Update information in your profile and select save.
I am no longer a student/trainee and I need to change my member type.

I joined under the wrong category or my member category has changed.
